Gangnam Seoyeon Plastic Surgery: Men’s Incisional Ptosis Correction / Monolid Ptosis Correction / Double Eyelid Removal Before & After Photos

Hello!

We are Gangnam Seoyeon Plastic Surgery, always striving to provide the highest level of satisfaction for every procedure :)

Today, we would like to share before and after photos of Men’s Incisional Ptosis Correction / Monolid Ptosis Correction / Double Eyelid Removal performed by Director Choi Dong-il of Gangnam Seoyeon Plastic Surgery :)

The photos below have not been edited in any way, except for brightness adjustments :)

Before the surgery, the patient had deep, high double eyelid lines, which gave him a somewhat overly intense or ‘greasy’ impression.

In this case, the patient wanted to improve his look so that the double eyelid line would only be slightly visible when his eyes were open!

How is Monolid Ptosis Correction or Double Eyelid Removal surgery performed?

Strictly speaking, the Monolid Ptosis Correction / Double Eyelid Removal surgery at Gangnam Seoyeon Plastic Surgery is a ‘Hiding the Double Eyelid’ procedure :)

Rather than completely removing the fold, we create a very thin line and then tuck the eyelid inward so that it appears as a thin, hidden double eyelid from the outside :)

※ Caution ※

If you cut away the skin directly above the eyelashes to remove a double eyelid, there is a high possibility of irreversible side effects.

Please keep this in mind and make sure to verify the appropriate surgical method for monolid ptosis correction or double eyelid removal :)

Frequently Asked Questions

Does double eyelid removal surgery completely remove the double eyelids?

No, it does not completely remove them; instead, it creates a thin, hidden inner double eyelid. The principle is to create a thin line and then fold the double eyelid inward, making it appear as if there are no double eyelids from the outside.

Can skin be cut when removing double eyelids?

No, cutting the skin directly above the eyelashes to remove double eyelids should be avoided. This method of surgery carries a high risk of irreversible and severe side effects, so caution is necessary.

When can I check the progress after surgery?

You can check the initial progress from 7 days after the surgery. The main text provides before-and-after photos at 7 days, 2 months, and 6 months, showing how the eye shape naturally settles over time.

Does Gangnam Seoyeon Plastic Surgery have a device to prevent ghost surgery?

Yes, we have CCTV in the operating room, so you can feel at ease. Furthermore, we operate under a single plastic surgeon representative director system, providing responsible care from consultation to surgery and only recommending necessary procedures.
