Gangnam Seoyeon Plastic Surgery: Incisional Ptosis Correction Revision (Line Lowering), Epicanthoplasty, Lateral Canthoplasty, and Lower Canthoplasty 1-Month and 6-Month Before & After Photos
Check out the transformation at Gangnam Seoyeon Plastic Surgery featuring incisional ptosis correction revision to fix sausage eyelids, combined with full canthoplasty for a natural look.

Hello!
We are Gangnam Seoyeon Plastic Surgery, always striving to provide the highest level of satisfaction for every procedure :)
Today, we would like to share before and after photos of a patient who underwent incisional ptosis correction revision (line lowering), epicanthoplasty, lateral canthoplasty, and lower canthoplasty performed by Director Choi Dong-il of Gangnam Seoyeon Plastic Surgery :)
The photos below have not been edited in any way, except for brightness adjustments :)

This is the appearance before the revision surgery.
Although the patient had previously undergone double eyelid surgery, the lines were too high and thick, resulting in what is commonly known as ‘sausage eyelids’.
Furthermore, the thick double eyelid lines were covering a significant portion of the pupils, making the eyes look smaller and more tired than they actually were.
In this case, we planned to lower the line height through incisional ptosis correction revision to create a natural double eyelid line, while performing a full canthoplasty (epicanthoplasty, lateral, and lower) to create a more open and refreshed eye shape.

This is 1 month after incisional ptosis correction revision (line lowering), epicanthoplasty, lateral canthoplasty, and lower canthoplasty.

This is 6 months after incisional ptosis correction revision (line lowering), epicanthoplasty, lateral canthoplasty, and lower canthoplasty.

Comparison between the pre-operative state and 6 months post-operation.
Gangnam Seoyeon Plastic Surgery complies with all medical laws. The photos in this post were taken under the same conditions with the patient’s prior consent. Please note that side effects such as bleeding, infection, and inflammation may occur after plastic surgery or procedures depending on the individual.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is sausage double eyelid reoperation performed?
Yes, it is corrected by lowering the line height through incisional ptosis correction reoperation. If the line is high and thick due to the previous surgery, covering the pupil and making the eyes look sleepy, reoperation to lower the line can create a much more natural double eyelid line.
Can ptosis correction reoperation and canthoplasty be performed together?
Yes, they can be performed simultaneously. As in the case in the main text, combining incisional ptosis correction reoperation to lower the double eyelid line with epicanthoplasty, lateral canthoplasty, and lower canthoplasty (four-way canthoplasty) can help improve the eye shape to be more refreshed, larger, and natural.
When were the post-operative progress photos taken?
The photos were taken at 1 month and 6 months post-surgery. They were taken under the same conditions with the patient's prior consent, and they are original photos without any retouching except for brightness adjustment, allowing for a clear comparison of changes before and after surgery.
Do I not have to worry about ghost surgery?
Yes, you can rest assured. Gangnam Seoyeon Plastic Surgery has CCTV in the operating room, and Dr. Choi Dong-il, the representative director and a board-certified plastic surgeon, personally handles everything from consultation to surgery under a one-person system, alleviating concerns about ghost surgery.
Can side effects occur during surgery?
Yes, side effects can occur depending on the individual's constitution and condition. After plastic surgery and procedures, there is a possibility of general side effects such as bleeding, infection, and inflammation, so sufficient consultation with a specialist and caution are required before surgery.
