Epicanthoplasty Revision 1-Year Before & After Photos (feat. Gangnam Seoyeon Plastic Surgery)
Check out the 1-year transformation of epicanthoplasty revision at Gangnam Seoyeon Plastic Surgery. Restore a natural look by adjusting caruncle exposure.

Hello!
We are Gangnam Seoyeon Plastic Surgery, always striving to provide the highest level of satisfaction for every procedure :)
Today, we would like to share before and after photos of epicanthoplasty revision performed by Dr. Choi Dong-il of Gangnam Seoyeon Plastic Surgery :)
The photos below have not been edited in any way, except for brightness adjustments :)

This is the photo before epicanthoplasty revision.
The caruncle (red part of the inner eye) is excessively exposed, and the distance between the eyes is too narrow. This can create an unnatural look and a somewhat ‘harsh’ or aggressive impression.

This is immediately after stitch removal, 7 days post-surgery.
While some marks and swelling remain, the surgical area is healing well and maintaining its shape.

This is the result 1 year after surgery.
The amount of caruncle exposure has been reduced, and the scars have healed beautifully.

Comparison between before surgery and 1 year after surgery :)

Frequently Asked Questions
When are the stitches removed after canthoplasty revision surgery?
The stitches are removed 7 days after the surgery. Immediately after stitch removal, surgical marks and swelling may still be present, but the surgical site is stable and well-maintained at this time.
When do scars from canthoplasty revision surgery become natural-looking?
Scars usually heal well and become natural-looking about 1 year after surgery. After 1 year, the excessively exposed lacrimal caruncle will be reduced, and the unnatural eye shape will settle stably.
What kind of eyes require canthoplasty revision?
It is needed when the lacrimal caruncle is too exposed or the distance between the eyes is excessively close. Such eyes can give an unnatural and fierce impression, which can be improved through canthoplasty revision.
Do I need to worry about ghost surgery?
No, you can rest assured. Gangnam Seoyeon Plastic Surgery operates under the system of Dr. Choi Dong-il, a single board-certified plastic surgeon, and has CCTV in the operating room, so you can undergo surgery safely without worrying about ghost surgery.
Are there any side effects of canthoplasty revision surgery?
Yes, side effects may occur depending on the individual. After plastic surgery and procedures, side effects such as bleeding, infection, and inflammation may appear depending on the patient's constitution or condition, so sufficient consultation and caution are required before surgery.
